The government of Telangana is set to boost its support for innovation and entrepreneurship in the life sciences and healthcare sectors at the upcoming BioAsia 2025 summit. This year, the event will feature a dedicated Startup Pavilion and an Incubation Centre designed specifically to foster collaboration, investment, and growth opportunities for emerging startups.
BioAsia 2025: A Catalyst for Innovation
BioAsia, recognized as one of the leading life sciences and healthcare conferences, will expand its role as a global platform for startups seeking visibility and funding. The summit aims to empower 80 selected startups, showcasing their innovations and advancements to a range of stakeholders, including top companies in the industry and potential mentors.

Sridhar Babu, the Minister for Industries and Commerce in Telangana, emphasized the enthusiasm from both national and international startups, highlighting that BioAsia serves as an invaluable venue for these ventures to connect with a global audience. The incorporation of the Incubator Pavilion and Innovation Zone signals the government’s commitment to fostering solutions that have the potential to transform the healthcare landscape.

Selecting Top Ventures
The Telangana government, in collaboration with the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), has short-listed approximately 80 startups to exhibit their projects at BioAsia 2025. Among these, the top five startups will have the prestigious opportunity to present their ideas during the Valedictory session of the event, further enhancing their chance for visibility and future collaboration.
