If a laboratory process depends on holding a sample at a precise temperature, humidity level, or light exposure for a defined period, Memmert’s range at Smart Labtech’s booth is built to answer that need — across a temperature span that runs from below −75°C to above +300°C, depending on which corner of the product line a lab requires.
At the environmental-simulation end, the Constant Climate Chambers (HPPeco) series — available in seven model sizes from 108 to 2,140 litres — hold working temperatures from +5°C to +70°C with humidity control between 10% and 90% relative humidity, using what Memmert calls Advanced Peltier Technology for heating and cooling with notably low energy consumption. The Humidity Chambers (HCP) line, sized from 56 to 241 litres, pushes the upper working range to +90°C with humidity up to 95% rH, and adds six-sided heating — including a heated inner glass door — specifically to shorten recovery time and prevent condensation after the door opens, a detail that matters for any stability protocol involving frequent sampling.
For accelerated and extreme-condition testing, the Environmental Test Chambers (TESTA TT/CT), in 300- and 1,000-litre sizes, extend the setting range down to −75°C and up to +180°C, with temperature change rates as fast as 10 K per minute and a choice of humidity sensor variants. These run on Memmert’s ClimaPlus software for programming and monitoring. The Climate Chambers (ICH) series sits between the two, covering +10°C to +60°C with humidity and light control, available in variants with integrated illumination for photostability work or CO₂ control for cell-based applications, and running on the R290 propane refrigerant.
On the thermal-processing side, the Universal Ovens (U series) span 32 to 1,060 litres with working temperatures up to +300°C and all-round four-sided heating for temperature homogeneity, while the Waterbaths (WTB) cover six sizes from 7.5 to 51 litres with calibratable, highly precise temperature control up to +100°C in stainless steel housings built for repeated use.
Memmert’s incubator range covers four distinct use cases rather than a single generic product: CO₂ Incubators (ICO), sized 56 to 241 litres, hold 0% to 20% CO₂ with R290 refrigerant; Peltier-cooled Incubators (IPPeco), spanning an unusually wide 32 to 2,140 litres, work from 0°C up to +70°C with double doors — glass inside, stainless steel outside — for low energy consumption; Compressor-cooled Incubators (ICP), 32 to 749 litres, extend the working range down to −12°C; and the standard Incubators (I series), also 32 to 749 litres, cover +20°C to +80°C with the same four-sided heating used in the oven range. Vacuum Ovens (VO), in three sizes up to 101 litres, add controlled vacuum down to 5 mbar for drying applications where atmospheric heating would damage the sample.
Taken together, the range gives a laboratory manager a genuine like-for-like comparison across nearly every temperature and humidity scenario a stability, storage or incubation protocol is likely to demand — useful groundwork for anyone walking the booth with a specific validation requirement rather than a general interest in “an oven.”
Memmert’s full range will be demonstrated at Smart Labtech’s booth, Hall-1 C-01, HITEX Hyderabad, September 10–12.
