The Ushalakshmi Breast Cancer Foundation has set a new Guinness World Record for conducting the largest breast cancer awareness lesson. The event took place at the Brahma Kumaris headquarters in Shantivan, near Mount Abu, and attracted an impressive 5,020 women from various parts of India and even some from abroad.
Dr. P. Raghu Ram, the founder of the Ushalakshmi Breast Cancer Foundation, delivered the lesson, captivating the audience for over 40 minutes. Rishi Nath, the official adjudicator from Guinness World Records, praised Dr. Raghu Ram for his engaging presentation style, which kept the massive group focused and attentive.
In addition to the record-breaking lesson, the presentation was streamed live on Brahma Kumaris’ YouTube channel. Dr. Raghu Ram is also seeking to break another record for “Most views for a Breast Cancer awareness lesson on YouTube in 24 hours,” with the results expected in the coming days.
Dr. Raghu Ram dedicated the record to his late mother, Dr. Ushalakshmi, who was a breast cancer survivor. He expressed that her courage and strength greatly inspired him to launch this impactful awareness campaign.
The event was attended by various members of the Brahma Kumaris and other prominent individuals. The foundation’s commitment to breast cancer advocacy continues to gain momentum, raising awareness and educating women about the importance of early detection and treatment.
As the world observes International Breast Cancer Month, this significant achievement by the Ushalakshmi Breast Cancer Foundation highlights the ongoing efforts to spread awareness and support for those affected by breast cancer.
