Jijimon Chandran, the illustrious founder and CEO of Acsia Technologies, emphasized the city’s potential as a cradle of innovation, particularly in the realms of digital cockpits & displays, e-mobility, and telematics.
The global automotive industry’s march towards embracing a technology-driven future is well-reflected in the projections of over 470 million connected vehicles on the roads by 2025 and an estimated market exceeding $320 billion by 2030 for automotive software, electronic control units (ECUs), and sensors. Thiruvananthapuram, with its avant-garde infrastructure, vibrant R&D ecosystem, and a rich reservoir of engineering talent, appears poised to meet the exacting demands of this rapidly evolving industry.

The pronounced inclination of international entities such as dSPACE to establish their first competence center in Asia in Thiruvananthapuram, alongside the presence of established automotive titans like Nissan Digital and Tata Elxsi, is indicative of the city’s allure as an automotive technology powerhouse.
