In a defining moment at the IInvenTiv-2024 held at IIT Hyderabad, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan set forth a visionary trajectory for India‘s future. The inaugural ceremony of IInvenTiv-2024, a landmark R&D fair featuring over 100 innovative technologies from top institutions, provided the perfect backdrop for this ambitious declaration. Minister Pradhan invoked the spirit of ‘AmritKaal’, a pivotal period marking the next 25 years leading to India’s 100th year of independence. “Innovation, research, and a robust manufacturing sector are not just economic goals, but the bedrock of a resilient and self-reliant India,” stated Minister Pradhan. He further elaborated on the government’s strategic initiatives aimed at fostering these sectors, including the ‘Make in India’ and ‘Invest in India’ campaigns, and the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme.
