POC testing refers to medical diagnostic testing performed at or near the site of patient care, allowing for immediate results and timely decision-making. This article explores the rise of POC solutions in diabetes management and their impact on healthcare delivery in resource-limited environments.

The Importance of Point-of-Care Testing in Diabetes Management

  1. Immediate Results and Decision-Making
    • POC testing provides rapid results, enabling healthcare providers to make immediate clinical decisions regarding diagnosis and treatment. This is particularly vital in diabetes management, where timely interventions can prevent complications and improve patient outcomes.
