The second Hyderabad Annual Tree (HAT) Biodiversity Survey is set to take place on Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 8 am to 11 am. This event, organized by WWF-India’s Hyderabad chapter, invites all nature lovers from Hyderabad and nearby districts to participate. The main goal of this survey is to explore and understand the complicated connections between trees and animals within the city.
During the survey, volunteers will have the chance to observe and note down various species that inhabit or visit the trees in Hyderabad. The state director of WWF-India, Farida Tampal, emphasizes the importance of this survey in raising awareness among people about the city’s flora and fauna.
